Are there Russian-speaking schools in Antalya for kids during a short-term stay (2-3 months)?

Based on 2 discussions with 2 participants · Last activity: 6 days ago

TL;DR

There aren't many full-time Russian-speaking schools in Antalya, and tuition is comparable to university fees back home; for a short 2-3 month stay it's more practical to switch to homeschooling/distance learning through your home school and take exams upon return.

One workaround: before leaving, arrange a temporary switch to homeschooling/distance learning through your home school (e.g. in Moscow). Upon return the child rejoins their regular class, but has to pass makeup tests for the missed period.

This homeschooling arrangement for a stay in Antalya was already being used back in 2019 — the school back home issued an official permission for the child's absence during that period.

According to a teacher from one of the Russian-speaking schools in Antalya, tuition there is roughly comparable to Russian university fees — quite pricey for just a 3-month trip.

It's worth checking current info separately for Antalya and Alanya, since options and prices may differ and details from 2019 may be outdated.
