TL;DR
In late May and early June the sea in Antalya is typically warm, around 28°C. Some rocky slabs may be present on the seabed, but seaweed smell is generally not an issue.
In early June 2025 the water near Bi Mayn beach was very warm, around 28°C, with no seaweed smell or other issues reported.
In May 2025 there was no seaweed smell at the beach. Rocky slabs on the seabed were present but not bothersome. Nearby beaches had noticeably more slabs, some sticking out of the water.
In both 2024 and 2025, the sea near Bi Mayn was comfortable for swimming in late May and early June, with no water quality issues noted.
In a previous year swimming was in full swing from May 22nd. However, a late spring can delay sea warming, so water temperatures may occasionally be cooler than usual.
