How to get from Antalya Airport to your hotel: taxi, transfer, or bus?

Individual transfer drivers usually do show up, but if many flights land close together, drivers can get taken by other passengers first and yours may not make it. It's also recommended not to board right in front of the local taxi stand at the exit, but to walk further to the boom barrier and meet your transfer there instead.

AntalyaKart can be bought or topped up by the tram stop near Terminal 1, on the bridge at the airport.

According to media reports (August), Antalya Airport now uses 13 lettered counters (A through M) for individual transfer pickups — find your surname on the electronic display; the process is overseen by police and the Turkish Association of Travel Agencies.

From 1 August, the meeting procedure for individual transfers at Antalya Airport has changed: drivers do not meet passengers with signs outside the exit, and operators are found via dedicated letter-marked counters. The process for package-tour guests using group transfers remains unchanged.

Yandex Taxi is allowed at the international departure terminal. Cars are parked to the right after exiting the building, in a dedicated area.

AntalyaKart (the local transit card) can be topped up at the airport — there is a top-up terminal just across the road from the arrivals hall, about 5 metres away, even though locals may not always be aware of it.

Right outside the terminal exit, there is a row of tour operator and transfer company desks where you can arrange a ride to your hotel on the spot.

There is a large parking area in front of the airport filled with Mercedes minivans — demand for transfers is high and finding a vehicle is easy.

You can withdraw Turkish lira at ATMs right at the arrivals exit and take a regular taxi. The fare depends on your destination — check in advance.

For a fixed price agreed in advance, GetTransfer is a convenient option — a minivan will meet you and take you to your destination without surprises.

If you book a shared group transfer, expect a longer ride as other passengers are dropped off first. The airport is about 60 km from some resort areas.

The budget option: take the airport shuttle to Antalya's main bus station (otogar), then transfer to an intercity bus toward your destination.
