TL;DR
The most spacious beaches are at Mirage Park Resort in Göynük and Hane Family hotel. Central Kemer beaches and hotels like Kirman Sidemarin get very crowded in peak season.
The beach at Phaselis archaeological site (not the Phaselis Bey hotel) isn't usually considered a beach destination, but it's clean. Cirali also isn't too crowded.
Tip: don't go north — stay on the southern part of Konyaalti beach, where it's less crowded.
A recent beach photo with new sunbed canopies appears to be from Rai Premium hotel: tourists in May had no complaints, but now complaints about overcrowding are coming in, as if it were a different hotel.
Simena hotel previously had two extra rented beach plots — one behind Norma beach (2-3 rows of loungers from the shoreline, accessed through Norma's territory) and another between Emelda and Marco Polo hotels. This season both extra plots are gone, which may make the main Simena beach more crowded, though in early July it was still fairly free.
For a less crowded beach, Miramor is mentioned as having an edge-of-the-strip location: a recent report says there is plenty of free space along the shore, even toward the Maxx Royal side, without feeling packed in.
Hane Family hotel beach stands out for spaciousness — sunbeds are well spread out, there's always room available without needing to reserve spots early in the morning.
Beaches at Kirman Sidemarin and Narsia hotels become extremely packed in peak season (June onwards), with sunbeds almost touching each other. Mid-May is still manageable, but high season brings serious overcrowding.
Central Kemer has very limited beach space — small beaches are shared between multiple hotels. For example, the Fame Beach area serves both the 4-star Fame Beach and the 3-star Fame hotels.
For a spacious beach, choose hotels in the Kemer suburbs like Göynük. Mirage Park Resort has roughly a 1 km beach — the longest in the Kemer area. The neighbouring Karmir Resort is about 200 m away.
Phaselis Bey is another option with a comparably large beach in the Kemer area.
