Why is Yandex Taxi not finding cars in Antalya — especially near hotels?

In Lara, Yandex Taxi may not reach certain hotels: local taxi fleet cars wait by the entrance from the morning, and Yandex drivers may be afraid to enter the property.

Airport update: Yandex Taxi has recently become available to request there again.

If Yandex Taxi finds no car, look near your accommodation for yellow “taxi” call buttons on poles or trees. They can summon a local taxi, typically paid in cash.

Another example: round-trip Yandex Taxi ride to/from a hotel in the Sera area. On the return trip there are plenty of taxis waiting nearby, but local hotel-zone taxi drivers openly confront Yandex drivers — passengers reported having to actively defend their driver from being turned away.

Yandex Taxi drivers are often blocked from entering large hotel zones in Antalya. Local taxi operators near hotels and resort clusters control access and prevent outside drivers from picking up passengers — an unofficial but common issue.

If Yandex Taxi shows no available cars, try walking to the nearest public street and setting your pickup point there — this often bypasses hotel zone restrictions.

Yandex Taxi does work in Antalya and can be quite affordable — for example, a ride from Terra City mall to IKEA was reported as very cheap.
