Do buses from Bodrum airport to the city center have air conditioning?

The buses to central Bodrum are large white Havaş buses with air conditioning. To make sure you board the right one, check the electronic display on the front — it should show 'Bodrum Merkezi'.

The bus makes two stops: Torba (on the edge of Bodrum) and central Bodrum (the final stop). At either stop you can transfer to a dolmuş (minibus) or taxi to continue to your hotel.

In Bodrum, buses operate strictly on their own fixed routes and don't pick up passengers from each other's routes — this is intentional, to properly distribute passenger flow.

Buses to central Bodrum do not leave from the international terminal itself: after exiting, walk left for a few minutes to the domestic terminal. The buses stop there opposite the yellow taxi rank.

Buses from Bodrum city center to the airport depart from the bus station 2 hours before the flight, with a stop at the new Torba bus terminal. The schedule is posted in the city center.

It's worth checking the bus route in advance: if one bus is faster than another, it likely makes fewer stops. Each stop involves leaving the highway, driving to the bus station, and waiting for passengers — which adds up significantly.

Air conditioning is standard on all buses in Turkey — both regular city buses and tour operator transfers. It's a requirement, not an optional feature.

Regular buses run directly from Bodrum airport to the city center. Travel time is comparable to a taxi or transfer, but the fare is very low.
