Should I book a sea-view room in a Bodrum hotel, or choose a quieter inland-facing room?

TL;DR
Book a sea-view room from the start if the view matters to you, as changing rooms after arrival can be difficult. Inland- or field-facing rooms may be quieter, particularly when the pool and entertainment areas face the sea.
If a sea view is important, select and pay for the sea-view category when booking. It can prevent disappointment and the need to negotiate a room change after check-in.
For a quieter stay, ask where the windows face: a field-facing or inland room may be calmer than one near the pool. The trade-off is usually giving up the sea view.
You can ask for a good sea-view room at check-in and see what is available, but this is not a substitute for a confirmed room category. A complimentary upgrade depends on vacancies.
