Are hotel swimming pools in Turkey heated in April, September and October?

About late October, a review posted in early October 2026 said the hotel's only indoor pool was ice-cold and, judging by other guests' reviews, is not heated. The author advises not to count on it.

Some participants see pool heating mainly as a winter feature and say a cold season is not the hotel's fault. For April and October stays, it is therefore worth confirming the heating schedule with the hotel in advance.

November experiences differ: guests who stayed from 9 November last year said the hotel heated its children's water park and the water temperature was very pleasant.

Two guests of the same hotel who stayed in April (one of them from 18 April) said only the lower pool was heated. Both found it uncomfortable: cold getting in and out of the water, and not warm outside afterwards either.

One of the guests skipped the outdoor pool entirely on some days and swam only in the indoor one. After 25 April, however, they were already swimming in the sea.

For comparison, one guest named Rixos and Akka, where she said the heating was excellent at the same time of year, unlike her hotel. She advises anyone who cares about a warm pool to choose the hotel carefully. Another guest wrote in September 2026 that she picked the hotel for its heated outdoor pool but ended up swimming only twice, without much pleasure.

In August 2026 one guest relayed what a hotel had told her: it added a heated pool in November of the previous year. This applies to that particular hotel, not to Turkish hotels in general.
