TL;DR
Many hotels in Alanya guard their beach sections — security may stop you from passing through. Walking along the waterline is sometimes tolerated but not always.
Kolibri hotel has a decent small beach with calm waves, suitable for children. However, the security at the neighboring property stopped walkers at the pier and only allowed photos from there.
In September, security at Movenpick, Gural, and Rai hotels closely monitored outsiders on the beach — sometimes escorting them within meters. Walking along the waterline was possible, but the sunbed areas were off-limits. At Nirvana hotel, access was blocked entirely except for the pier.
Incekum Park (national park) charges around 80 lira per person entry. The beach has an unusual crater-like landscape and is popular with Turkish families; camping is available. You cannot reach it along the beach — a guard blocks the way and you must go around via the road. The return walk along the highway sidewalk is unpleasant due to heavy traffic.
