TL;DR
Yes, most Turkish hotel rooms have working AC, but some units won't cool below 27°C (81°F), and top-floor rooms can get hotter due to roof heat.
In September some travelers skip AC at night entirely and just open the window — comfortable enough without it.
Rooms have AC and don't feel stuffy — just set your preferred temperature and it works fine.
Top-floor rooms (e.g. room 6111) get very hot because the roof heats up — in-room AC helps, but the hallway feels like a sauna.
AC is available, but there's also an open veranda that ventilates well — the room stays cool even without it.
The AC doesn't cool aggressively — trying to set it below 27°C (81°F) causes it to shut off.
AC units work well and temperature is adjustable or can be turned off completely; the AC auto-shuts off if the balcony door is open.
