TL;DR
Pool areas at Turkish resorts often play loud music during the day, which carries into pool-facing rooms. Ask for a room facing the opposite side of the building instead.
If you're placed in a pool-view block, ask reception to switch you to a room facing the opposite building block — it's quieter there.
Not all pool-view rooms are noisy — on higher floors (e.g. 3rd floor) the music may be barely audible; it depends a lot on the exact room location.
Families with young kids should request a room away from the pool in advance — daytime music there can disturb nap times.
