TL;DR
For light sleepers or families with children, request a bungalow away from the stage and evening entertainment. Rooms in the main building near the stage may still hear music until midnight, even with the balcony closed.
For a child’s daytime nap and an early bedtime, request a bungalow in a more remote part of the grounds, as it is generally preferred over the central building for lower noise.
If you are a light sleeper, tell reception at check-in and request a room away from the stage: evening entertainment can make it difficult to fall asleep before midnight.
Room 3325 on the third floor can pick up sound from the stage. Closing the balcony reduces it, but it is not an ideal choice for children or anyone needing complete quiet.
When choosing between a main-building room and a bungalow, ask about its distance from the stage as well: in the main building, noise depends largely on the room’s side and floor.
