TL;DR
At Belcekız Beach (Ölüdeniz) free sunbeds are easy to find even after breakfast — no need to rush early to claim spots. The water is turquoise and cleaner than on the Antalya coast, though occasional foam/film appears and you can just walk further along the beach to cleaner water.
The water at Ölüdeniz is genuinely turquoise and noticeably cleaner than most beaches on the Antalya coast. The beach is long, so if foam appears in one spot you can simply walk further left or right to cleaner water.
In June, no trash was spotted on this beach, but occasional foam appears on the water — likely from natural causes or passing yachts/boats rather than pollution.
Visitors who came to Belcekız Beach two years in a row in late June–July never had trouble finding sunbeds: they arrived after breakfast, left around noon, and returned to sunbathe again around 3-4pm without issues. No need to reserve spots with towels early in the morning.
