Is Rama Hotel in Turkey good for a family stay: check-in time, room size, beach access and main drawbacks?

Based on 1 discussion with 3 participants · Last activity: 13 days ago

TL;DR

Guests say Rama Hotel’s biggest advantage is its seafront location, with the beach about 1 minute away. Downsides include possible check-in delays until 14:00, small rooms, sunbeds taken by 10:30, disco noise, and heavy fly problems around the dining area.

What the community said

The most recent report says check-in happened only at 14:00 despite an earlier arrival. The room was small but clean. By 10:30 most sunbeds were already taken, so going to the beach early is a good idea. In the evening the sea was clean, with no trash, though slightly rough.

A family who stayed at Rama Hotel for 4 days with a child said the main advantage was the seafront location: the beach is about a 1-minute walk away. They liked the food, but reported a major issue with flies in the restaurant area. In Building B, loud disco music was noticeable until about midnight.

Another guest reported arriving around 9:30 and receiving the room only at 11:30 because there were just 8 two-room Family units in that building. The transfer from the port took about 1 hour 10 minutes. Room 3022 was described as basic, without many extras, but acceptable for the stay.
