TL;DR
Budget hotels in Turkey typically offer daily cleaning and towel changes. Hot water can be inconsistent in the evenings, but AC is available and balconies help with ventilation at night.
Post-renovation rooms are clean with no mold in the shower. Housekeeping and towel changes happen daily without fail.
Hot water works well in the morning and around noon. In the evenings (after 6:30 PM) it can be inconsistent — fluctuating temperature and intermittent flow — but never completely absent. Observed on the 3rd floor.
Staff always knock multiple times before entering for housekeeping. Solo rooms consistently get two sets of towels. Guests sharing rooms (3–4 people) sometimes report towel shortages.
Food at budget hotels tends to be repetitive with little menu variation day to day. A common trade-off for the price, offset by good location near the sea and mountains.
Standard European power outlets. AC is available — a common approach is to cool the room during the day and sleep with the balcony door open at night.
Bathrooms are fully equipped and towels can be changed upon request as often as daily.
