How to check in for a flight from Istanbul: online or at the airport?

For AJet: go to the AJet My Trips page, enter your 6-digit PNR booking code and surname in Latin letters as in your passport. Once the booking is found, select your flight and click 'Download Ticket' or 'Print'. The e-boarding pass becomes available after AJet's online check-in opens, 24 hours before departure. You can save it to Apple Wallet or as a PDF.

For Pegasus Airlines, free seat selection isn't offered either online or at the airport — at check-in counters passengers are simply seated near each other with no option to choose specific seats.

For Southwind Airlines, online check-in opens 24 hours before departure and closes 3 hours before. You need your PNR booking number and last name. Seat selection through a tour operator cost around $40 for three passengers — roughly the same as booking directly.

Online check-in is available on the airline's website, typically 24–48 hours before departure depending on the carrier. With an e-boarding pass or a Turkish airline, arriving at 4 PM can be fine. With checked luggage on other carriers, arriving more than 2.5 hours early is pointless — check-in won't open sooner.

You can check in either online via the airline's website or at the airport. Tickets booked through aggregators work the same way as direct bookings — the check-in process is identical.
