TL;DR
Navigation apps may tell you to get off too early: there is a bus stop close to Çamlıca Mosque. Check that your route goes to the stop by the mosque rather than leaving you at the foot of the hill.
When travelling to Çamlıca Mosque, aim for a bus that stops directly by the complex. Some app routes suggest getting off one stop early, which can leave roughly 500 metres of walking.
Do not rely on Yandex Maps alone for the final approach to Çamlıca Mosque: it may direct you to the bottom of the hill, followed by an uphill walk of about 30 minutes.
Google Maps can also identify the wrong stop for Beylerbeyi Palace and Çamlıca Mosque. Before getting off, check whether the next stop is immediately by the attraction.
