To receive cash via a money transfer app in Istanbul: initiate a transfer to Turkey in the app, select the currency, and pay from your card in your home currency. Save a screenshot of the transfer number — it also appears in the app history. Then visit the nearest PTT post office (search 'PTT' on maps) and collect your cash using the transfer reference number.
