What's the food and drinks like at all-inclusive hotels in Kemer (buffet quality, queues, drink options)?

In an August 27 review, a guest described the food as repetitive and unappealing, with both overcooked and undercooked dishes, little meat and frequent soy-based alternatives. They also reported finding wire in a pastry, dirty plates, and serving equipment at the beach bar that gave electric shocks.

According to a September 9 review, seafood was served only once a week. The guest also noted a wide selection of ice cream but rated the à la carte restaurants poorly.

A guest recommends telling the bar that your drink is for the beach so it is served in a paper or plastic cup that can be taken along. The same guest also reported walking through with an ice cream in hand without being stopped.

In an October 1 report, guests said they enjoyed the mojito.

A guest reported inconsistent cocktails at Rama and said they choose bartenders who make drinks to their taste.

In an October 11 report, a guest noted that all bars operating during the day were outdoors and expressed concern about getting wet in the rain.

Guests note that previously you could ask the bar to pour from a premium bottle (e.g. Chivas) without extra charge or warning about separate pricing — several recent guests report this is no longer the case.

The in-room minibar currently has no beer at all, only water, which disappointed several guests.

One guest reports a very generous and tasty dinner spread — crayfish, shrimp, squid — saying the quantity and quality of food surpassed even premium-segment hotels they'd visited before.

During peak season, all guests are admitted to Prestige Bar, so seating indoors is often unavailable. Outside can be hot and stuffy, and many people take beer or cocktails to go; it may be quieter in autumn.

A recent guest reports that the minibar is very limited, essentially containing only water rather than the usual soft drinks, iced tea, or juices.

One guest who spent a single day at Olympus hotel (2024 overbooking) had a negative food experience: big crowds, small serving area, few seats, food wasn't replenished — had to pick from leftovers. Only upside was the beachfront location.

Effectively only one bar is operating; the others have unclear schedules and days off, there are queues, and ice often runs out. Cocktails are all similar — a plastic cup gets 10-15 ml of alcohol plus syrup, cola, sprite or soda. This wasn't the case two years ago. On the plus side, the beer is good.

Watered-down whisky was encountered only once — at the a la carte restaurant (Honey Sun in Çolaklı). At the main bar, drink strength was fine.

In-room mini-bar gets restocked almost instantly on request, drinks come in glass bottles. Restaurant seating is plentiful, no endless lines like some other hotels (e.g. "Porto") reportedly have. Meat selection is limited (no lamb or fancy cuts), but ice cream is available and staff are polite and quick to clear tables.

Lines do form at the buffet stations right now — even for basics like cucumbers and tomatoes, especially at round-shaped counters where it's unclear who's queuing for what. Breakfast is calm with no waiting, but lunch and dinner involve queues. The pool bar opens earlier than the main meals but also gets crowded. Still, nobody goes hungry.

The hotel grounds are small — for some guests this is the biggest downside, especially if they're used to more spacious resorts. Finding food is not an issue. Drink options go beyond house brands: Coke, Fanta, Sprite and kids' mocktails are available both at the beach and pool bars.
