Instead of a crowded dolmuş, you can negotiate with a taxi driver waiting near the hotel for a round trip to Antik Side for $50: he drops you off, waits for a call, and picks you up after about 30 minutes, paying at the end back at the hotel. The car fits around 5 people, so the fare can be split with other guests.

A dolmuş marked 'Side' stops right by the road near the hotel and goes all the way to Old Side. For the return trip, look for a dolmuş marked 'Çolaklı'. The fare is roughly €2, payable in euros, dollars, or lira; the driver has a price chart for groups.

On the way back from the old town, walk to the bus stop by the mosque and take a bus heading toward Antalya — it passes Titreyengöl and drops you on the highway near the stadium and market, about a 20-minute walk from the hotel.
