Where to buy affordable dates and Dubai chocolate near Deira City Centre, Dubai?

In late September 2026 another participant pointed out that Deira City Centre has a large Carrefour supermarket, which also sells chocolate, dates and other take-home gifts.

The large hypermarket on the second floor of Deira City Centre has packaged dates and Dubai chocolate in a small section to the left of the entrance. For a better date selection, continue to the produce area, which has gift sets and loose dates sold by weight.

For Dubai chocolate, try Day to Day across the road from Deira City Centre. It was recommended for a wider range and lower prices than the mall, with packs mentioned at about AED 20.

If you need gifts such as chocolate-covered dates, participants in September 2026 suggested this route: first check the gift sets and loose dates near the produce section of the second-floor hypermarket at Deira City Centre, then compare Dubai chocolate prices at Day to Day across the road, which in their experience has a wider range and lower prices than the mall.
