TL;DR
Noise levels vary by room location and personal sensitivity: rooms facing the main entrance were generally quieter, but traffic, air-conditioning hum and lifts can be noticeable. Light sleepers may want earplugs, and a whistling balcony door may be caused by a curtain caught in the frame.
One guest reported whistling from the closed balcony area, hum from exterior air-conditioning units and audible lifts, while voices from neighbouring rooms were not heard. The in-room air conditioning can be switched off using a separate control.
If noise seems to come through the balcony door, check whether a curtain is trapped in the door frame. Air-conditioning noise can only be eliminated by turning the units off; to avoid lifts, consider the ground-floor Laguna category or a second-floor Suite.
The road below the windows may be noticeably noisy for light sleepers. One traveller used earplugs and found them effective.
A room facing the main entrance was generally quiet, with occasional car horns audible.
