How do breakfast, deposit and pool access work at NH Collection hotel and its sister property Dukes?

Breakfast alternates between NH and Dukes on weekdays, but on Saturdays and Sundays each hotel serves its own guests separately, without alternating.

Both NH and Dukes have coffee machines at breakfast with free coffee. Rooms also have capsule coffee makers, with capsules restocked daily.

The two hotels are close together — about a 5-minute walk at a relaxed pace. Electric carts are available to shuttle between buildings, but most guests skip them since the distance is short.

At Dukes hotel (same chain as NH), no security deposit was actually charged at check-in, despite the travel agent warning that one would apply.

Breakfast alternates: one day at NH, the next at Dukes. Service starts at 9:30, but a line forms earlier — arrive by 9:00 to avoid waiting. Guests can use the pools at both properties.
