TL;DR
Food quality at St. Regis UAE gets mixed to negative reviews: meat is often overcooked and oversalted, dinner buffet is limited. Breakfasts are acceptable, pizza and fruit are the safest dinner options.
A recent guest found lunch to have a broad selection: 4–5 types of well-cooked meat, 2–3 kinds of fish, and meat-based dishes with sides such as pilaf.
There is reportedly a grilled option every day at both lunch and dinner, such as chicken, fish, or steaks. It can be taken without sauce for guests looking for simply prepared food.
With the Ultra All Inclusive plan, the à la carte restaurants are included at no extra charge. One guest reported that even their picky child enjoyed the food, and they did not encounter any tough, woody beef.
One guest visited the lunch buffet and had no complaints about the meat, suggesting quality may vary depending on the time of visit or personal taste.
Dinner buffet had almost no meat — only white fish with an off-putting smell. A cook prepared grilled meat on request, but it was rubbery and extremely salty. Potato soup was also oversalted. The most reliable dinner options were freshly baked pizza and fruit. Breakfasts were saved by egg dishes; avocado available on request only.
Meat dishes — chicken, beef, and fish — were consistently disappointing: either tough and chewy or simply bland. One family reportedly made trips to the St. Regis hotel shop to buy their own groceries because the buffet food was unacceptable to them.
