Which room view to choose at Riu hotel Dubai to avoid construction and traffic noise?

According to a recent report, mountain-view rooms face the quiet side and are a better choice for avoiding construction noise, but they do not have balconies. Paying extra for a pool or sea view may not be worthwhile: the pool limits the view and work noise can still be heard.

Road-view room is a poor choice — even a closed balcony doesn't block the traffic noise (comparable to a busy highway), and construction starts at 4am.

Stayed at the hotel a year ago: the room faced the construction site, but no noise was heard since the balcony stays closed all summer due to heat.

From the construction-view room the sea is still visible, but the cranes are far away and don't affect the overall impression — most time was spent at the pool anyway.
