TL;DR
Long-term studios and one-bedroom apartments in Da Nang can be found for roughly RUB 25,000–39,000 per month, with basic options starting around VND 8 million. On a US$650–700 monthly budget, rent may take up most of your income, so overall comfort depends heavily on area and non-rent spending.
In Son Tra, a clean furnished studio in a new building was rented for about RUB 25,000 per month, around a 10-minute walk from the beach.
A renovated 52 m² one-bedroom apartment can be found for around RUB 39,000 per month. For unlisted apartments, ride around on a scooter and contact the Zalo numbers displayed outside buildings.
An apartment in a desirable location was available for VND 12 million per month, with move-in only from late August. Some properties never appear on Facebook or Nhatot; landlords post their contact details outside the building instead.
Basic but decent long-term rentals start at around VND 8 million per month. Newer apartments in a good location may be available for approximately RUB 30,000 per month.
