Where can foreigners open a Vietnamese bank account and card in Da Nang?

Vietcombank also issues a card, but it doesn't have a printed card number, so it can't be used for online purchases — that's why many prefer BIDV instead.

At the BIDV branch at 129 Lê Lợi, Hải Châu, an account and card were opened in just 30 minutes. Other foreigners were served without any issues too.

There's another bank branch (location pinned on Google Maps) where an account was opened — the key advantage is that the card doesn't get blocked once the visa expires.

At a different branch (Google Maps pin), an account can be opened using just the visa stamp, but no physical card is issued — which isn't a problem since it stays in Vietnam anyway.
