Where can I get an eye test and prescription glasses made in Da Nang, including astigmatism lenses?

Feedback on daily lenses from local optical shops in September 2026 was lukewarm: one traveler said they felt like sandpaper in the eyes, while another buyer described them as very thin — looking up, it feels as if the lens is slipping out. In his view they are wearable overall, though not up to familiar brands.

In August 2026 a traveler said she had bought a second pair of children's myopia-control glasses in Da Nang. Such lenses look almost like regular ones, but the whole surface is covered with a nearly invisible honeycomb pattern; according to her, after a year of wear her daughter's eyesight stopped getting worse. This is one family's experience, so discuss such lenses with an eye doctor.

Contact lenses in Da Nang are sold in optical shops alongside glasses. In June and September 2026 travelers wrote that they mostly found two types — daily and three-month lenses — neither of the best quality. One traveler noted that the three-month lenses in practice last a month at most.

In June 2026 a participant recommended Khánh Hưng Optical: they make prescription glasses, including for astigmatism, and if the lenses are in stock the glasses are often ready the same day.

Quang Optic was named in the same June 2026 message as a second option for glasses from an existing prescription with astigmatism correction. Same-day collection is possible if the lenses are in stock, so ask on the spot. Participants also suggested checking other optical shops on the map.
