Where is the best place in Da Nang to buy groceries, drinks, and budget souvenirs: Lotte Mart, MM Mega Market, or Go!?

A tip from October 2026: over time you find cheaper shops, and it pays to split your shopping — a participant living in Da Nang keeps three shops in mind: one only for bacon, another for crisps, beer and the like.

On grocery delivery: in August 2026 a participant complained of huge delays with delivery orders from Lotte Mart and was looking for expat-run shops that deliver. If timing matters, it is more reliable to go to the supermarket yourself.

Packaged coffee: in August 2026 two travelers who had come from Nha Trang complained that finding packaged or loose coffee in Da Nang was harder, with prices that seemed noticeably higher than in Nha Trang. In September others were again asking which supermarket is best for souvenirs and coffee — compare prices in a couple of shops before stocking up.

In July 2026 a participant described Go! as a place specifically for groceries. For non-food souvenirs, they suggested simply browsing on the spot: walk into different shops and see what you like.

What to stock up on in a big supermarket, from the same June 2026 experience: beer, snacks, soju, cola and similar drinks — enough for the entire holiday. The local rum the traveler wanted was not available there.

Gifts: in June 2026 travelers suggested buying nuts, cocoa and coffee at the supermarket. In July a participant added that at Lotte Mart you can pick whatever appeals in look and price, but the only souvenirs there are edible ones — sweets, tea, coffee and the like.

Household bits: based on June 2026 experience, it is worth picking up small items such as car air fresheners at a big supermarket too. Vinegar and baking soda, as a participant wrote in July, can be found in any corner shop, though they had never seen grill charcoal in shops.
