Where to buy good Vietnamese coffee in Da Nang (beans/ground, as souvenirs)?

In August 2026 a participant who said they had long worked with Vietnamese coffee wrote that gift buyers in Da Nang often choose ground coffee from Trung Nguyen Legend cafés. It comes in sturdy, presentable packaging, with an even medium grind and a chocolatey aroma, in 250 g and 500 g packs. Note that this is ground coffee, not beans.

A review of a Trung Nguyen Legend café itself in August 2026 was lukewarm: visitors ordered an expensive coffee that drips into the cup through a metal filter and ended up with about 1 cm of coffee — staff said that was how it should be. If you are going for gift packs, don't count on the pricey drinks to impress.

You can look for coffee at one of Da Nang's largest markets, but in August 2026 a participant advised buying from a trusted place instead and recommended the Bacama coffee shop.
