How much does a visa run from Nha Trang to Laos or Cambodia cost?

The cheapest option in ViEntry's summer 2026 ads was a border crossing to Laos without a new visa: round-trip bus and visa-exempt entry, normally about 1,200,000 VND, on promotion from 900,000 VND. Whether visa-exempt entry works for you depends on your citizenship and Vietnam's entry rules, so check in advance.

How to judge a package price: in July 2026 a participant said that around 3 million VND is a normal price because it includes processing a 90-day visa, while a tour just for a 45-day entry stamp usually costs about half as much. He also mentioned that you can travel to Laos on your own. In September 2026, someone asking about going to Cambodia by car was told it is rather expensive and pointed to the sleeper bus instead.
