TL;DR
For visa-exempt entry, enter the arrival date first and, only if required, use the date you complete the form before selecting Unilateral Exemption. For an e-visa, enter its actual issue date—not its validity start date.
For visa-exempt travel, enter your planned arrival date and the other mandatory details first. Try leaving the visa issue-date field blank when it is not marked mandatory; if the form requires a date, use the date you are completing the form.
Do not select “Unilateral Exemption” before completing the date field when the form demands one: choosing it too early may auto-fill the arrival date and lock the field from editing.
When entering on an e-visa, use the actual issue date printed on your own e-visa in the Pre-Arrival Card. Do not use the visa validity-start date or the form-completion date; if the field is optional, try leaving it blank first.
