TL;DR

You can order a dummy return flight reservation for $20-30 through online services (or around $10-12) instead of buying an actual return ticket for ~$200 at the airport if immigration asks for proof of onward travel.

Tip: book a return ticket reservation in advance for about $10-12 instead of risking having to buy a real ticket for ~$200 at the airport if immigration demands proof of onward travel.

~$10-12 vs ~$200 at airport

There's a service where you can buy just a reservation (not an actual ticket) for a return flight for about $10, which can be shown to immigration if requested.
