Where to buy Vietnamese coffee and tea as gifts in Nha Trang?

On prices, a participant in September 2026 wrote that whole-bean coffee of comparable taste costs about 850,000 VND per kg in Nha Trang and, in his view, is not a bargain compared with what he pays at home. The exception is robusta, which is inexpensive in Vietnam.

A skeptical view from September 2026: even a tour in Dalat does not guarantee "real Luwak", and tourist shops in Nha Trang or online marketplaces even less so. Roasted beans also start losing their aroma after 3–6 months of storage. For connoisseurs the participant's advice was to taste before buying; for a simple "bring me some coffee" gift, any pack with "Luwak" on the label will do.

The tea and coffee shop SAPA HEART OF VIETNAM is in the center; in July 2026 participants suggested looking up the address on a map. In September 2026 another participant added that SAPA holds free tastings in the mornings until noon, so you can find a flavor you like before buying.

For tea and coffee, participants in June 2026 suggested: VitaFarm for good tea and specialty coffee; MR.VIET for coffee gift sets; Trung Nguyen Legend as the best-known Vietnamese brand; and L Store or SAPA HEART OF VIETNAM for tea, coffee and souvenirs in one place.

Typical gifts are G7, robusta or arabica beans, lotus tea and jasmine tea. In June 2026 the souvenir shops Carpe Diem, Kissa Souvenirs, L Store and SHREK GIFT were praised for their range of coffee, tea, magnets and gifts. Cho Dam market is cheaper and has a lot in one place, but it is aimed at tourists, so choose carefully and bargain.

In June 2026 Viet House Shop at 251 Nguyễn Thiện Thuật was described as one of the tourist favorites, with a wide range of premium coffee, including blends and Weasel coffee (Cà phê Chồn) from Vietnamese factories and farms. A traveler in late June also mentioned she had already bought coffee at Viet and was looking for another option for a gift.

On Weasel coffee (Cà phê Chồn), a participant in June 2026 explained the grades: genuine 100% Chon starts at about $1,000 per kg (around 2.5 million VND per 100 g). Tourist shops more often sell a commercial blend at $12–30 a pack, with the small print usually reading 10% Chon / 90% robusta or arabica. If "Weasel coffee" is offered at $5–10 per kg, he said, it is ordinary robusta with flavorings.

As an alternative to expensive Weasel coffee, participants in June 2026 suggested the Trung Nguyen Legend (Legendee) line from Trung Nguyen Coffee chain stores: its fermentation is reproduced artificially with enzymes and, in one participant's view, it often tastes better than cheap shop imitations of Chon.

A specific Dalat coffee can be hard to find in Nha Trang: in September 2026 a fan of La Viet beans wrote that she could find it neither on Lazada nor in Nha Trang shops. A participant in June 2026 suggested ordering directly from Dalat farms (for example, Dalat Weasel Coffee Farm / Trại Hầm Đà Lạt) via their websites or Facebook pages with delivery to your hotel; in his words, VNPost or Grab/Giao Hàng Tiết Kiệm deliver from Dalat to Nha Trang in 1–2 days.
