Honda PCX150 and Honda Air Blade were reported to carry two riders weighing more than 170 kg combined without difficulty, including uphill routes to Sunset Town, Khem Beach, Starfish Beach and Buddhist temples.

For a couple weighing roughly 100 kg each, a Honda PCX was sufficient for touring all around Phu Quoc and climbing to Peak without trouble.

With a combined weight of 160–170 kg, there is no need to seek out a scooter advertised with an unusually high load rating. A newer, mechanically sound scooter—preferably a PCX or Air Blade for two-up riding—should be suitable.
