Is it worth paying extra for a higher room category (e.g. Diamond) to get better food and drinks at all-inclusive resorts in Egypt?

TL;DR
In many resorts, food and drinks are the same across room categories — paying extra for a 'Diamond' category doesn't upgrade the food, since the issue is the hotel's overall dining quality, not the room type.
At Savoy hotel, drinks are mostly canned rather than poured, which makes the stay pricier — the extra cost is for the drinks, not for room quality.
Some hotels offer many restaurant choices, but the room rate can be nearly double compared to a budget-friendly option.
The Diamond room category costs more, but it's actually the same hotel, same dining hall and same bars — all guests eat and drink in the same place. Not worth the extra money, since the hotel's main issue is food and drink quality, not the rooms.
