TL;DR
Egypt all-inclusive hotels typically offer Mongolian, Italian, sushi, and teppanyaki restaurants. Mongolian BBQ and teppanyaki show are the highlights; sushi and Italian tend to disappoint.
Chinese restaurant in the Soho area: food is decent overall, but waiting times are long — the whole dinner with dessert took about 2 hours.
At Sentido resort the situation is similar: breakfast is repetitive, in the evening kebab is grilled outside while fish, beef and chicken are cooked inside; side dishes lack variety.
According to recent feedback, the Asian restaurant is currently temporarily closed and not operating, though it used to be an option for variety.
The Kaiser restaurant used to stand separately near the children's waterpark and was considered excellent. Guests now find it less impressive — the menu feels sparse, with breakfast fish being a highlight. The Alfredo restaurant was previously French, not Italian. The Asian restaurant (formerly 'Aziatik' on the 1st floor and 'Sidi Ali' on the 3rd floor) has been renamed but is still operating. The food is not authentically Chinese — noodles and most dishes are far from the original — but it offers a welcome change of pace from the other outlets.
The Mongolian BBQ restaurant was the standout and worth a repeat visit. Teppanyaki requires a reservation and includes a cooking show. Italian was underwhelming — pasta and pizza were no different from the main buffet. Sushi was a letdown for roll lovers.
The Eastern restaurant on the 2nd floor near the waterpark serves meat on individual mini-grills at the table — highly recommended for dinner.
Dining options vary widely — from sit-down restaurants to beach bars and street-side grills near Asian eateries.
