What is the weather, sea temperature, and wind like in Egypt during New Year holidays and early December — is it good for swimming and sunbathing?

One report from immediately after New Year describes particularly comfortable conditions: air temperatures of 26–28°C, sea temperatures of 24–25°C, and almost no wind. Long swims were comfortable, and short sleeves were suitable until around 9 pm; warmer layers were only needed later. Conditions can still vary considerably from year to year.

For December, the main practical tip is to prepare not only for sunshine but also for wind and possible sea closures. Travelers say the weather is often good at that time, but windy days are common enough that they should not come as a surprise.
