What should travelers expect in Egypt hotels for towels, drying clothes, and using the room until an evening departure?

If your group occupies several rooms, consider requesting an extension for just one: one report described three couples extending one of their three rooms.

For a 19:00 departure, guests were told they could take beach towels to the spa shower, change there, and use a hairdryer. They ultimately extended their room, so they did not personally verify the spa facilities.

If not extending the room for a late flight, guests can leave luggage at reception, spend the day at the beach, and use the spa shower free of charge to wash and change before dinner. Tips for the spa staff are optional.

A guest at the Aquamarine hotel reported that towels were missing in the room upon night check-in; after asking in the morning they were provided, and have been replenished daily since.

One guest reported that at a 5-star hotel, towels are handed out at the pool rather than provided in the room.

For late departure, guests get a free room for about 1 hour before leaving to shower and pack — longer than the 30-minute window mentioned in earlier reports.

There is also feedback that for an evening transfer, the hotel allowed the room to be kept until later in the day, so guests could relax all day and take a shower before checking out.
