Where to buy a visa on arrival at Egyptian airport and how much does it cost?

The visa on arrival costs $30 regardless of your tour operator. Purchase it at dedicated glass booths labeled 'Visa' or 'Bank', located before passport control. Important: buy the visa first, then proceed to any tour operator desks.

The visa booths are glass-walled with large 'Visa' and 'Bank' signs. Standing facing passport control, they are on the right side; tour operator desks are on the left. There are three or four booths — any of them will do.

Tour operator desks and visa booths are completely separate. Visas are sold only at the glass booths marked 'Visa' or 'Bank'. A simple rule: anything that is not a tour operator desk is where you buy your visa officially.
