Which beach is better in Hurghada: Dana Beach, Sunrise, or the island area?

Sunrise beach is essentially a lagoon too — the sea is shallow and farther from shore than at Dana Beach, requiring guests to use a private pier to reach the water. The main advantage is slightly more lively entertainment. The crowd is mostly German tourists.

The island area near Hurghada has noticeably clearer water compared to Jaz Lagoon, which can get murky. The reef isn't the most vibrant, but you can spot interesting marine life — especially various species of rays on the way to the island. Access depends on tides: sometimes you can walk, sometimes you need to swim.

Dana Beach has a decent lagoon — far from being just a puddle. The sea is closer to shore than at Sunrise. Overall, Dana Beach and Sunrise are roughly comparable in quality; the main differences are entertainment programs and how far the water is from the beach.
