Which hotel room types are best in Egypt resort hotels: view, balcony, noise level?

Family rooms are available in buildings 38 and 32 (near reception). In corner rooms of building 38, one room is a pass-through with two bathrooms. In building 32 (room overlooking the Diet & Root restaurant roof), the rooms are separate, each with its own balcony, sharing one bathroom. Building 10 isn't as far from the sea as it seems — only about 2 extra minutes on foot, and buses aren't disruptive; aquapark noise is more of a concern for daytime naps.

Each building has 10 rooms: typically one room has a very large balcony, one has a small balcony, and the 2nd floor has French balconies. On the 1st floor, the balcony either faces a walkway with people passing by (less private) or there are more private rooms with a different balcony placement.

Guest reports suggest that most rooms have a similar layout, but second-floor rooms may be slightly smaller because of the balcony.

A family room in the outermost building was noted for having a very large balcony. Balcony privacy varies by building: some have grille-style dividers between neighboring balconies, while others have solid stone walls.

Rooms with two balconies may face different directions: in one example, one balcony overlooked construction while the other faced the fountain, so it is worth confirming the actual view in advance.

If booking a Standard Mountain View room, clarify in advance which direction the windows face — noise levels and views vary significantly depending on the specific room location.

Superior category rooms are available only on floors 8 and 9. A room on the 9th floor with a balcony overlooking the kids' aquapark received very positive feedback from guests.

Rooms with balconies are worth the upgrade — the difference in comfort between a small standard room and a larger room with a balcony is very noticeable.
