TL;DR
Hotels typically run free tuk-tuks or shuttle buses to the beach — check the schedule at reception. They run frequently (every 15-30 minutes), but sometimes you may need to wait for the next one if the first is full.
By day 3 of the stay: the bus to the sandy beach takes about 15 minutes, to the coral beach it's faster (close by, standing room is fine). If you miss the first bus, the next one comes in just a couple of minutes. There's almost always free space on the beach even if it seems crowded.
Tip from experienced travelers: don't request a room closer to the sea hoping to skip transport — you'll still walk in the heat either way. Better to book a regular room and use the tuk-tuks from reception, which run constantly down to the sea.
Route to the promenade: cross the road toward the sea at the landmark point — this is where the Hurghada waterfront (Mamsha/Sheraton Road) begins.
