TL;DR
Mango Market is mainly a fruit market and not great for souvenir shopping — the central Hurghada bazaar has fix-price goods, but most items are the same as in local supermarkets, sometimes even worse quality.
Mosquitoes are a real problem at Mango Market in the evening/night — bring repellent if you plan to stay late.
Chocolate-covered dates sold at the market are lower quality than the same product in regular supermarkets — not worth the markup.
Most goods sold at local markets are also available in the Wadi supermarket chain at the same prices, so a special trip isn't necessary.
The bazaar in central Hurghada is a decent option if you're specifically looking for a fix-price style market — chocolate bars turned out to be the best buy there.
