Minibus routes vary, so check the direction before boarding. For example, from the Sunny Days hotel area all dolmush minibuses go straight to Sakkala square — no need to ask. Hotel staff may not know local routes since many are not from Hurghada themselves.

From the Sunny Days hotel, take a dolmush minibus to Hurghada Center mall, where there are plenty of ATMs and exchange offices with decent rates. There's also an ATM right across from the hotel itself. To get back, just flag down a minibus and tell the driver your hotel's name.

There are many exchange offices around the city: in the Kawsar district (Bank Street), in Madaras, and in El Hadaba. Rates and fees vary, so it's worth comparing a few spots in person before exchanging.
