Where to shop in Sahl Hasheesh, Egypt?

In October 2026 a traveler wrote that Senzo was not worth the trip. In their experience, Hurghada has plenty of shops and pharmacies with fixed prices — not on the Mamsha promenade, but a little inland in the El Kawser area.

Sahl Hasheesh is a fairly expensive area, a visitor wrote in July 2026. The waterfront has a Best Way supermarket with a reasonably priced pharmacy nearby, and that is about it for shopping. The waterfront continues into a seaside promenade that is nice for walking or riding an electric cart.

At pharmacies with no price tags you can bargain: in July 2026 a participant wrote that prices there include a markup anyway.

In June 2026 a visitor described what is near the hotels: walk left from the hotel and you reach a small promenade with shops, then a mall further on, and further still Il Mercato. Il Mercato is mostly a pedestrian street with few shops, but it has a Russian pharmacy and Fares restaurant.

For proper shopping, visitors suggest going to Hurghada: in June 2026 they named Senzo Mall, Hurghada Mall and the fish market. In July another added that Senzo Mall has a large supermarket, a pharmacy and clothing shops and can be reached by taxi. One participant also suggested a cheap city sightseeing tour from a tour operator (around 5 dollars was mentioned), but advised against buying anything at the Nefertiti shop or the pharmacies the tour stops at.

In June 2026 another participant was even more blunt: in Sahl Hasheesh itself there are shops only near Amarina and opposite Sevenesis, the pharmacies are very expensive with no proper pharmacists, and for malls you have to go to Hurghada.
