Can I order a hotel breakfast box for an early Luxor excursion?

At one hotel, guests reported that breakfast boxes and late dinner were offered only when the excursion was booked through the hotel guide. If you booked a Luxor trip with an outside operator, check the reception policy in advance.

Another traveler recommends ordering the box the previous day and collecting it in the morning before departure; in their experience, it should not matter where the excursion was booked if you will be away from the hotel for the day.

To order, visit reception the day before your trip and give your room number and the number of boxes required. One reported box contained an orange, small water, sweet rolls with jam, and cheese rolls, so consider buying extra snacks separately.
