After 11 January, Luxor was warm in the daytime and even hot around 2 pm. After 6 pm, a sweatshirt and jeans were sufficient; a jacket and warm socks were not needed.

Until mid-November, daytime temperatures reached about 30°C and the sea was around 26–27°C. From about 12 November, stronger wind made it chilly after swimming, and sweaters or hoodies were useful in the evening.
