Travelers who stayed at Sunrise Montemare Resort say the surrounding area feels sparse, with some abandoned-looking buildings nearby. In practice, that means it is usually easier to take transport for shopping instead of looking around the immediate area.

A similar report from the Sunrise Remal Resort area says there are hardly any shops nearby, and the area is far from the city center and main sightseeing spots. If you want shopping and walkable infrastructure, it is better to plan a trip into the busier parts of Sharm El Sheikh.
