A recent report puts Senzo Mall at roughly 500 metres to the left from the hotel.

The shops can be entered from either side, including from the street with McDonald’s; they lead to the same stores. There is a fixed-price shop with no pushy salespeople, and luggage can also be bought in this shopping area.

After comparing prices, the shop farther from the hotel and closer to the middle of the street was noticeably more expensive, so it is worth checking several shops nearer the hotel first.

Alternative route: exit the hotel, cross the road, then walk left for 7–10 minutes. Landmark is a roundabout and a metal fence, behind which is the parking lot; the mall itself is brightly lit and impossible to miss.

Turn left straight out of the hotel (no need to cross the road) and walk about 80 metres — it's the first shop on this route; staff give good discounts when totaling your purchase, and vitamins are cheaper here than at the pharmacy right by the hotel.

Directly across the road from the hotel barrier is a shop called 'Irina' with a wide selection — a handy alternative when the hotel shop is out of something.

Turning right out of the hotel, you'll find a pharmacy, small shops and children's rides along the way — the area feels lively, not deserted.

Shops in the area are nearly empty during the day — people head out after dinner. An evening walk to the Old Market and back is quite comfortable.

A small two-storey shop is 3–5 minutes from the old reception: exit and turn right, walk along the hotel towards the centre. Ground floor sells groceries, upper floor has clothes and souvenirs. Fridges with water and ice cream stand outside the entrance — easy to spot.

The walk to Senzo Mall takes about 15–20 minutes at a leisurely pace. Turn left out of the hotel, follow the pavement, and look for the large parking lot as a landmark.

Turning right out of the hotel, Mango Market lies beyond the Grand hotel, participants wrote in June 2026. In one shop along the way travelers saw that only Egyptian pounds were accepted and moved on. In late June other travelers bought everything near the neighbouring Regance hotel: prices on the packaging were in pounds, and they paid in dollars.
